Morphs are body modifications that can be applied by the use of inks, giving you new traits beyond the species' base anatomy. Morph inks originate from Hanasei bioengineering research, and are created with various ingredients depending on their function, but most — if not all — contain Aether.

Applying them is much like applying a tattoo: the inker will draw specific patterns on the individual -- those patterns are akin to a coding language, and they direct the Aether on what modifications to make and where. Each morph comes with its own coding patterns, available to the public. Keeping patterns secret is frowned upon by most traditional inkers, but the process of applying to public availability includes showing successful results and following standard codes. This means that for rare, harder morphs or cheaper service, you may have to find someone who works with unapproved patterns.

Morph Types

There are two types of morphs: Species morphs and Wild morphs — the latter being divided into 3 subgroups. There's no list of specific traits they give, rather anything that fits the description is allowed.

If you have any doubts on a trait and where it goes, feel free to send a help ticket on the site or Discord!
